Sophie Theallet has vowed not to dress Melania Trump when she becomes First Lady and urged other designers to follow her example.
Speaking on behalf of her brand, the designer tweeted a damning open letter in which she said they 'will not participate in dressing or associating in any way with the next First Lady'.
Citing the 'rhetoric of racism, sexism and xenophobia' of the president-elect's campaign, she ruled out ever working with Melania - despite not having been asked.

Of course, the Melania response should be that she would hope that Sophie’s refusal would extend to persons who are invited to the White House or to attend Presidential events.

one of her memorable pictures was at some UN event when she has on a sweater that looks like it wasn’t buttoned right ..but it was designed that way..and she is making a huge step sideways on a stage. She looked just awful

Two comments:
1. What makes this asshat think Melania would ever give consideration to wearing any of the garbage he / she dressed Mooochelle in?
2. Give the designer some credit because it’s not every day that you have to design women’s clothing for a wookie or transgendered football player.
