A House committee chairman says President-elect Donald Trump likes the idea of spinning off air traffic control operations from the government and placing them under the control of a private, non-profit corporation chartered by Congress.
Rep. Bill Shuster, head of the House transportation committee, told The Associated Press that he spoke to Trump about the idea several times both before and during the presidential election.
He said he believes the president-elect would be supportive, although details would have to be worked out. …

The decades of waste and incompetence by the agency/gov’t will be cleared up in a year by private industry that will do a better job.
Why can’t Rep. Bill Shuster keep his mouth shut?
Not a bad idea. He needs to package it with getting rid of the EPA and Federal Dept of Education. He also needs to reign in HHS and eliminate fraud, waste, and abuse there.

It is already bought and paid for by private interests. What we SHOULD do is make congresscritters wear the names of their sponsors on their suits like soccer players and NASCAR.

IMO, TSA should be eliminated and the airlines be responsible for their own security. I’m sure the Israelis will be happy to hold training classes for them in the proper method to use to insure reduction in threats from this source.

Actually, I’d trickle out as many ideas as humanly possible just to get the left completely frothing at the mouth. The more unhinged they get, the more exposed they become. By the time the inauguration rolls around, they’ll be poorly prepared for “anything” and will lose many political battles :-)!
