His national right is spot-on. Constitutional law and amendments are above state’s rights. No state has a legal right or ability to dissent from the other states or federal government on any amendment.
When people say “Mental health issues” I run. Before anyone can say this, we MUST identify clearly what those are. The Medical industry will call my disdain for muslims a mental disability.
We must ensure that this can’t happen. And we can do that by removing “mental health” from the terminology. If someone is on mood-altering drugs or under psycho-therapy for violence ... at least that’s well defined.
“Putting the law back on the side of the law abiding” is a great phrase. Again: What does it mean ? Random stop and frisk isn’t congruent with this phrase, and he has voiced support for that concept.
Before the courts are given so much power (Exile) the courts need to be cleaned up. I remember the judge in the Zimmerman case. She broke the law as well as the spirit of the law by introducing new charges before deliberation.
This sort of madness must be completely eliminated before courts are given the power to “automatically impose 5 year jail sentences”... (in certain areas ? What ? these aren’t the same laws that are in place in other areas ? No. That’s not what he said earlier...)
The letter isn’t good enough for me. My analysis is that it is lip service - it’s a farce.
Show me one new law.
“All laws that have come since the second amendment are nullified and illegal”
If this letter is serious, then I expect a fully automatic rifle in my closet, in-locked, without anything more than my birth certificate as licence.
Don’t rain on my parade.
I doubt there is...in the heat of the Cold War, when we were trying to fend off Communism and latch on to as many allies as we could, I imagine no thought was given to such a situation.
Perhaps the outstanding debt for the weapons could be written off, by Congressional or executive action...at the same time, though, would that action set some kind of precedent we could later come to regret regarding debts owed?
I should also note, I understand the then-director of the CMP was in Korea on unrelated business, and took advantage of the opportunity to inspect the Korean Garands...I understand he wrote them off as needing too much work to be of value to the CMP program.
“Dont rain on my parade.”
Not even damp. The best thing that Trump can do for gun rights he WILL do. SCOTUS picks.
when I say “We’ll take it from there” I mean we will sue and fight the existing laws once again. If Trump does things to reel in gun control and get our rights back, you can only guarantee that the dems will volley it back with MORE gun control measures and trickery.
With a SCOTUS pick we’ve won. That’s all he has to do.
