Kelly, don’t believe everything you hear and see in the news. It might not be true.
I am posting this outside my office. If anyone asks I'll let them know its our President.
“I was terrified at the thought of interviewing him. I’m not easily intimidated, but this time was different. Would he ridicule me? Mock me? Say something rude to me? I had seen him do it on his show. “
The sentence is a contradiction. How can a person not be easily intimidated, yet “terrified” of ridicule, mocking, or having someone say something rude?
The article is a nice bit of truth, but that sentence is bizarre.
Am I correct in assuming that since this is WGY from the NY capital district that ‘Shen’ is Shenendehowa HS in Clifton Park NY?
The article and even the TV clip seems to expect you to know that, but if I hadn’t lived there for 6 years, I’d have no idea and I expect most others wouldn’t either.
He's such a mean guy that he's given millions upon millions to charities and to individuals down on their luck. He hates women and it's proven by out of 14 seasons of Apprentice, he's chosen 2, yes count them, TWO more men than women. One of the consestants has been brought on his campaign team who's a man, uh, no, scratch that. But then look at his winning campaign manager, a man... uh, no, wait, scratch that, too.
The person who wrote this is a journalist? Yipes! One would think that a basic knowledge of sentence structure and a familiarity with proper punctuation would be required.
