Amen. Whole Foods, and read the labels. I grow some stevia to add a leaf now and then to bitter teas. We started growing our own veggies about 6 years ago, and have been gradually adding a new garden patch every year.
I use dehydration, freezing, and canning. I don’t use any chemicals or pesticides. Growing your own “organic” veggies and fruits is the safest way to go, and cheaper too.
I only grow a few things, roma tomatoes, Tabasco and Habanero peppers, garlic, carrots, asparagus, cantaloupes...need to get busy and try a fall garden, maybe some lettuce and cabbage or broccoli too.
All organic, I’ve never used any pesticides or commercial fertilizers in this yard for 30 years. Mulch and cow manure, best fertilizer ever.
