Steven Bannon and Vindication for Sarah Palin
YouTube ^ | Vanity

Posted on 11/15/2016 1:21:55 PM PST by GoldenState_Rose

My entire political worldview was shaped by 2008 and the whole ordeal Governor Palin had endured from then and until now.

I was a student at the time she was governor, and by mistake came across a tiny article on the internet (in a non-political context) about the Governor of Alaska giving birth to a baby with Down Syndrome...I remember being so moved. I didn't even know what she looked like! Then I heard in some circles a week before McCain's announcement, that she was being considered for VP and I PRAYED and crossed my fingers it'd be her! (By then I learned about her credentials with regard to energy, oil regulation, et al.) -- I stayed up ALL night waiting for McCain's announcement and was THRILLED! Absolutely Thrilled.

In my gut though, I knew it was Obama's "time" or what have you to win...and it irked me that the Governor was second rather than first on the ticket -- but nothing could prepare me for the outright onslaught of PERSECUTION and HATE this great woman of God had to endure before this sick, sick society of ours -- especially at the hands of OTHER WOMEN!

I was appalled, but I learned so much and have been hoping and praying for her vindication since then. My, my, has the enemy attacked her and her family all these years -- and yet through it all, battered and bruised as she was, to have her incredible, monumental biographical narrative robbed by such lesser souls and low-lifes of the media and establishment -- she remained an ever influential presence...And I do not believe Donald Trump would have won without her and the work she put in to hold the fort for all us patriots she gave voice to.

I am proud to say that I did not even VOTE for Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan in 2012. I saw them as representing part of the ilk which sought to rough Governor Palin down, and keep her down.

I attended a screening of Steve Bannon's documentary of Palin's journey, "The Undefeated" -- and was impressed with how Bannon was able to, in cinematic terms and imagery, retell the narrative of Palin's journey and all the enemies of God who sought to attack and destroy her. They were absolute animals! (And in his documentary, he uses clips of animals leading their prey out to the slaughter.)

I know Trump and Palin are close, her parents even visiting the now Pres-elect and First Lady-to be at Trump tower not too long ago -- methinks Trump's relationship with Bannon may have something to do with Palin's advising. Who knows?

Anyways, all this to say, from my purview: Trump's victory is vindication -- only the beginning of vindication, for what happened to Governor Palin. I pray and hope Trump remains committed to keeping Steve Bannon in his inner circle regardless of all the ridiculous lies of the press and I pray Governor Palin be offered an opportunity to finally put her gifts and skills to good use in a seat of power. Honestly, I could even see her as a gracious, charming, and shrewd Secretary of State -- but realize, she is equally suited to domestic-interior issues directly tied to her background with oil/gas/energy/natural reserve issues.

God be with them all!

Hillary used her power in the media to destroy the viability of governor Palin because if she had not don it eight years later it would of been Palin running against her. instead of trump. Hillary knew that Sara Palin had the potential to be the first female President and so with the help of neo conservative went about systematically attacking her credibility. I hope that trump gives her a job.

Yes, as someone who was really disappointed by Palin bowing out in 2012, I feel like Trump is the vindication of Palin. His campaign is in many ways what I thought her’s would be, and it turned out as well as I thought her’s would have.

Really? I don’t know about the initial stages though — as I remember this was when the Clinton camp and Obama camp absolutely could not stand each other because Obama “stole” the election (and early key endorsements like that of the Kennedys) from Clinton and therefore was the real object of the Clintons’ wrath. I don’t even know if at this point she’d be sure she was willing enough to run in 2016!

To Bill Clinton’s credit he said the following in 2010:

Former President Bill Clinton advised Democrats today not to underestimate the possibility that Sarah Palin could be a powerful candidate in the 2012 presidential elections, citing her resiliency and calling her a “a compelling, attractive figure” who knows how to appeal to her conservative base.

“It’s always a mistake to underestimate your opponent,” Mr. Clinton said, in an interview with George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s Good Morning America. “I do think she’s a resilient character. And we may be entering a sort of period in politics that’s sort of fact free, where the experience in government is a negative.”

Mr. Clinton, who was on the show to promote the sixth annual Clinton Global Initiative, did not directly weigh in on Palin’s presidential qualifications, but said he thought the former Alaska governor is “somebody to be reckoned with.”

“calling her a “a compelling, attractive figure”...”

Ha, I bet Bill noticed she was “attractive”!

If she were President, I bet he would suddenly get interested in “reaching across the aisle”.

What a wonderful, uplifting post, Rose. Thank you so much for writing it. It truly needed saying, and I concur with every bit of it.

I wish more Freepers had availed themselves of the opportunity to see Steve Bannon’s film, “The Undefeated”. That film demolished every left-liberal and RINO meme that was ever launched to hurt this incredible woman.

My wife and I saw it when it was in the theater. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house when it was done, and the standing ovation went on for five minutes. I only wish that Sarah had been there that day to bask in the warmth of the people’s love and appreciation for her.

She is without doubt, one of the finest, most talented Americans there is. I truly hope that President Trump finds a place for her in his administration, and that she accepts. We need her more than ever.

Iron Man Todd Palin seems well on the road to recovery. He is registered to compete in next February’s Irondog race. His teammate will be rookie, and son-in-law Dakota Meyer.

Team #20 - Palin / Meyer
