President-elect Donald Trump is so disgusted with Chris Christie’s handling of the Bridgegate scandal that he’s kicking the New Jersey Gov. out of his inner circle, The Post has learned.
“Trump thought it was shameful that Christie didn’t take the fall for [convicted aide] Bridget Kelly,” said a source close to the transition team. “Trump is really angry that Christie is sending a soccer mom to jail. He believes 100 percent that Christie was behind it all.”
Christie’s former deputy chief of staff was convicted in federal court earlier this month along with former Port Authority executive Bill Baroni. They were charged with causing dangerous traffic tie-ups on the George Washington Bridge in September 2013 as political payback for Fort Lee Mayor Mark Sokolich not endorsing Christie.

I don’t believe this for a second. If it were true, Trump would have totally removed Christie. He did not. He simply put Pence in charge (as he should be) and made Christie a “Vice-Chair”...

MSM and others - including GOPe - have been trying all along to turn Trump supporters against him and each other. I recall about the fake story of Christie looking like he was in prison at a Trump event because he wasn't smiling enough or something like it and making a bigger deal out of it than Hillary's corruption. Thus, we have to be careful.

I don’t believe this. It looks like a set up by the Post to force Trump to either say he does or doesn’t care or believe the circumstance with Christie, of which either statement can be spun badly.

He sucked up to RINO Romney and then tossed him over in 2012 when he wanted a photo-op with Obama.
He’s sucked up to Muslims when politically expedient.

If Christie had no involvement, no reason to take the fall.
When your subordinates screw up, taking responsibility means fixing the prob and punishing the guilty.
But the left would have you believe that if a subordinate screws up, the boss should resign, as long as that boss is a republican.
We can’t believe a word any of the MSM says... will wait and see what Trump himself says about what the feels/thinks. That’s the way it’s going to have to be for the next 4 years (or 8).
That is a good sign. Trump should demand the highest ethical standards from his team and not hesitate to evict dead wood. We should not allow a “trial by media accusation” to take hold but when Courts pass down criminal rulings, it time to jettison dead wood.
One of the reasons the House GOP lost in 2006 was they would not jettison their 30 or so members who were corrupt dead wood.
I don’t believe any of this either. I did hear certain people like Mark Levin warn him not to use C. Christie in this capacity because he was bringing a lot of Bush and Romney people in and this would hurt his administration.

I don’t like Christie and don’t think he’d be good for the Trump admin, especially out of the gate. But this story is garbage.
