[Vanity] Are the people calling for Ryan's removal looking to delay Trumps agenda

Posted on 11/11/2016 5:42:16 PM PST by MagillaX

So we now here the calls to remove Ryan as the speaker of the house. Is it a good or bad idea.

Reason for removal: Can't be trusted

Reason for staying: Removal will involve changes in leadership and delays in Trumps agenda, Wisconsin went for Trump and Ryan did give some support in final days of campaign.

Risk assessment: Trust is not needed initially as long as Ryan follows through with Trumps agenda, potential for back stabbing increases with time.

Leadership change will delay Trumpa agenda causing potential risk of opposition as honeymoon period passes.

New leadership may be even worse.

Conclusion: Leadership change should be shelved for the year as long as Ryan commits to supporting Trumps 100 day agenda.

Emotions need to be checked at the door.

Deal with Ryan after Trump is inaugurated. Now's not the time to be engaging in pissing matches.

What about between now and then? He's not going to disappear.

It is the time! No 'pissing match', but a cold hard analysis. This whole issue should be done before the inauguration. Start with a clean slate when Trump is inaugurated.

DON'T FALL FOR ANY OF THIS STUFF. JUST LET TRUMP GET HIS TEAM IN PLACE AND WE CAN WORRY ABOUT THIS LATER.

Do you mean his Cabinet only? We're talking Congress/legislative, not executive.
The People, not Trump, should get their House in order.

It is time to decide.

Addendum:

And since the passage of the odious, State sovereignty destroying
17th Amendment The Senate is also the responsibility of We The People.

“My vote is to let the house handle its own business.”

Why? Thus far, the GOPe-led Congress hasn’t done $hit! They have proven to everyone’s satisfaction that they are incapable of “handling the people’s business.”
Right now, I’d favor Newt Gingrich being drafted to be Speaker again. The Speaker doesn’t have to be a member and Newt knows how to do the job.

“Will any of you Ryan supporters feel the same if Ryan betrays
Trumps wishes during the lame duck?”

I viscerally hate Ryan, and I hope he gets the boot as early as next week at the GOPe House meeting. That said, if Ryan stays on, he will not dare to do anything to upset or delay Trump’s agenda prior to 1/21/17. That would be the kiss of death for him. He’s disloyal, but not that stupid.

AND.....I tell you what, I did not like the way Pence reacted to the tape of Trump. He refused to appear with Trump the next day and said he could not support him....which was a lack of loyalty and work ethic.

If he excepted to be Trump’s VP, Pence knew he wasn’t becoming the VP of Mother Teresa, but quite the opposite. He could have answered like Ann Coulter...saying where was the media outrage when ANY conservative woman went to talk on a college campus and was called a C..T? and worse!

I would put Pence to work but not trust him.

The debt ceiling doesn’t have to be raised ....spending has to be lowered.

I don’t think a POTUS can force the issue without creating an enemy.

Also, I suspect that way more bad news is going to become public before Trump officially takes office.

Bad news meaning the type that can motivate normal folk to start shopping for pitchforks and such.

Sure having a untrustworthy sellout in place will speed up Trump’s agenda and make for smooth sailing./sarc noob

How can the Trump movement — or Trump — remove him? And would there be anyone decent who could be voted Speaker? Who in the House is against the globalist agenda?

Should we get rid of traitor Ryan? Of course. But how?

You are right.

And the media and all who pay attention to the media got that audio 100% wrong. They focused on mere words and had such fake outrage. Worse language gets oscars and Tonys. He was just locker room bragging at how women become star-f’ers. That is all he was saying. Something sociologically true. Women will do ANYTHING for a rich, famous man. He was not saying that he actually did that. He said YOU COULD.

Sad that Pence fell for the media lies.

I doubt that Ryan has much of a chance at actually getting the job. Many of the House members had to have paid attention to the election and realize that we’re done putting up with their treachery.

But, imo, forcing someone on the House as speaker simply gives the honorless, no integrity having, self serving, spineless scumbags an excuse to go full speed into their usual sabotage games.

Could work either way - I say let Trump decide if he needs to call for Ryan to be replaced - he won’t be shy if anyone gets in the way of his Mandate to the People.

I would personally like to see Ryan replaced.

If it can be done quickly without disrupting or delaying Trumps agenda that is my biggest concern.

“I don’t think a POTUS can force the issue without creating an enemy.”

Probably true! So any changes will need to be driven by the House members themselves. Still, Trump has a clear mandate, a fact that will not be lost on the House GOP. They will not get by any longer sitting on their hands and I think they know it. Any attempt by Ryan to thwart the Trump Program will now lead to his ouster and I think he knows it.

Her connections are striking.

Strains credulity to accept that her undistinguished RINO husband rose to the top of the DC Swamp through venality alone.
