Thank you for your support. I am glad that the men and women who are coming back from the war zones these days are at least getting pats on the backs, thank you, parades, etc. When I came back we got spit on in air ports, called baby killers and cursed at. THAT is the one thing that still irks me to this day. 95% of the men who went to Nam were probably drafted. They had no choice. Screw that “I will go to Canada stuff.” People did not have the means to go to up there. I just wish the stinking government, somebody, would do a weekend for Nam vets. Give them their due. Give them their day in the sun. Give them the honors they deserve. I know lots of guys who suffered mental problems, physical problems, etc. over the years. These guys, and gals, need to be honored before they pass on. We are getting old. The damaged ones will not last as long as the more healthy ones. Agent orange damaged people. All these folks deserve some type of honors from this nation. A full blown, official pats on the back, and a REAL, HONEST, PURE, “WELCOME HOME” from a nation that “actually” means it. Not the garbage of the left and the stupid back in the 1960s and 1970s.
