The only saving grace at this point in time is that she alienates every one around her, much like her mother.

I doubt that will work out well for them. Chelsea is basically a cipher. She doesn't have Hillary's aggressive, extroverted personality. Compare Chelsea to the younger Hillary we remember circa 1992. Can anyone imagine Chelsea in her mother's place doing stand-by-my-man 60 minutes interview? No way.

Could someone as homely and dull as a box of rocks be elected to, say, a House seat if she ran unopposed in a safe Democrat district? Sure, that's possible, but her political career would stop there. If she tried for a Senate seat or the presidency, she wouldn't be able to get past the primary. Other Democrats with actual political skills would easily defeat her.
