In the time of the Roman Empire, when a General won a major battle for Rome, he would hire or press an Auriga into service. An Auriga was a slave, albeit a very literate one, who would whisper into the General's ear "Memento homo"(remember you are only a mortal man) during the celebrations and processions.

While I am ELATED that Donald Trump has seemingly cinched victory, I am forced to remind us all that America has just entered it's most dangerous time in the entire history of the country.
The most dangerous time in America’s history starts tomorrow and ends on Jan 20, 2017.
Obama still is in power. He can create a lot of chaos. He can even start a nuclear war.
We are victors on the battlefield. But, I whisper, "Remember, we are only mortal men."

You know I’m thrilled by the apparent win.
Yet, I remain cautious. We have a confirmed madman in office.
The Democrats are going to have their last hurrah, but it will be a big hurrah. Riots will be sweeping America’s urban areas, and could possibly spill over to suburban/rural areas. They are going to try to kill conservatives; without the House, Senate, SCOTUS, and with an actual conservative (not GOP-e) as President, they know they have no chance at enacting their demented vision of America through subtler means. I played my part in ensuring that conservatives could vote safely, and I could tell that the liberals felt entitled to a Clinton victory. There were many more Trump voters, but many of them had an air of uncertainty around them. (Of course, there were many who were confident in Trump’s triumph.)
Mow the rioting liberals down. DO NOT SHOW THEM ANY MERCY. This could be our last battle for a long time, and I (along with the rest of the thinking nation) will be furious if some fool thinks of giving liberals a second chance.
It will be nice not having to think about politics as much for the next several years of my life, and to see my grandkids grow up in a prosperous and God-fearing nation.

This is a good example of Democrat nonsense. Blacks are not endangered by Donald Trump. They ARE endangered by Hillary and her policies of open borders and encouraging illegals to take American jobs and especially black jobs.
At some point, the illegals and their relatives will become the swing vote for the Democrats. Once the blacks are no longer needed on the Democrat plantation they will be quickly jettisoned and ignored.

A lot of blacks are cool with Trump, moreso than with any Republican since Reagan.
