Knew a Sicilian coworker with sandy hair & blue eyes who talked like out of The Godfather.
I asked if anyone ever had called him a “guinea” and all I got was a blank look. We looked in the unabridged dictionary for any connection between guinea and Italian. No luck.
Not even the old joke about Italian helicopters where the main rotor goes wop-wop-wop & the tail rotor goes guinea-guinea-guinea, had any effect.
