When "The annex" was shown live on air on C-SPAN, Chaffetz told the committee chair (Daryl Issa) that he was revealing secret information -- he didn't say what kind. The State Department rep testifying quickly pointed out that not everyone at the annex was State; so this was secret information. Issa immediately had the picture taken down.
From which we learn: a) No CIA op was outed, because every enemy in Libya already knew where the annex was b) There were CIA people at the annex, also no secret, as there are always CIA officers at US embassies and related facilities and c) Chaffetz, contrary to this claim, was actually trying to have the picture of the operation taken down.
Usually, the claim of a liberal will be 180 degrees in opposition to reality.
