A San Antonio Thai restaurant, Yaya, will let you use its Wi-Fi for free-- but only if you can solve this insanely complex math equation.
Reddit user Joshua_Glock posted a picture of the restaurants handwritten Wi-Fi equation this past weekend, but no one has been able to connect to the network yet, First We Feast reported.

It’s so like math people to screw up the spelling of “customers.”
I hope they don’t then insult their math intelligence by calculating various tip levels (often on the post tax amount) at the bottom of their receipts.
I now carry a MiFi HotSpot device to clear these kind of issues. Cheaper than having a SmartPhone connected to the 4G network.
Good way for a worker/student to get his homework done.
This is just their way of keeping the Common Core students out.
In today’s world, it’s easier to cry racism and file a complaint with the appropriate bureaucracy than it is to actially solve the equation. /s

The answer is 42.
It’s not a math formula. It’s a bunch of garbage. There’s some algebra, some geometry, and a fair amount of chemistry. Maybe some EE at the bottom.

The name explains why they are too cheap to provide free wi-fi.

Jersey Mike’s (fantastic subs) does that on their credit card reader, asking if you like to put the tip on your card and giving you the 10%, 15% and 20% amounts to click on.
