The Ampex 350 tape recorder has three channels too. First three track machine I’ve ever seen. Must have just been him and Capitol’s studios, distribution would’ve been mixed to two track.

The memoir of his valet during those years was just recently released. George Jacobs, ‘Mr. S”. It’s quite enlightening. He got the same treatment Peter Lawford did.

To me, Peter Lawford always looked/acted like a 5th wheel to the rest of the Rat Pack. He just didn’t seem to fit. Everyone else could pull off the humor I guess, but it just didn’t seem natural for him.
Mostly, he was really cheap.
