Thanks for the info...pretty sure the missing cats are due to the Coyote...all at night.. the other creatures are scarce hereabouts., although we have a red tail or two hanging around the lake.

I live in a big city. I live in an old section packed with hundred year old oaks. We never have a problem with stray cats. Should a cat have kittens, they won't last a single night outside.

Owls. Dozens of them in just our few square blocks. All the hooting and screeching at night is amazing. Owls sure do screech and squabble with one another. I think they are territorial. They don't like to share trees with one another.

I believe it is the stupidest thing i have ever heard of, if they want to get rid of the coyotes why not just kill them when they have them captured?

It is just a sport to pacify those wanna be big game hunters.

Besides, coyotes are not all bad, they do get rid of cats.
