The sad thing is, if the “Allies” had not had their heads in their behinds (and likely elsewhere in the vicinity), Putin / Assad could have been end run, at far less cost (not to mention the needless deaths & suffering in the ME, and turmoil in Europe.) Putin could have been outmaneuvered and not able to a thing about it.
Qatar, Saudi and the White House are the aggressors here.
The coup in Ukraine, and the violent civil war in Syria - these criminal acts were intended to isolate Russia and Europe from one another, and to help establish Qatar as a monopoly supplier to Germany.
