Black Democrats Have A Simple Explanation For Low Turnout: Obama’s Not On The Ballot
BuzzFeed News ^ | 11/1/2016 | Darren Sands

WASHINGTON — Weeks ago, on a kickoff call for the final stretch of the election with the Democratic National Committee’s Black Caucus, Interim DNC Chair Donna Brazile seemed concerned about the amount of resources at her disposal to turn out the black vote. (snip)

“Please, please, please,” she pleaded. “Just make sure you’re doing something that raises the level of visibility of our entire ticket. We need every voter, we need everyone.”

Then, Black Caucus Chair Virgie Rollins followed up. Pleading with organizers to do everything they could to get the black vote out, she reflected on the recent past: Black voters lined up en masse to vote for President Obama’s re-election largely because of the racial pride his candidacy engendered. Since Trump’s candidacy was doing the same for many white voters, Rollins told her organizers to tell people that this election is the “most crucial.”

Brazile’s opening remarks, as well as those by Rollins, were recounted Tuesday to BuzzFeed News by two independent sources on the call as evidence of unease about black turnout even before Clinton and Trump took the debate stage on Long Island. That anxiety has been validated by recent data showing poor early turnout from black voters in vote-rich Florida, a key battleground for Clinton that, if she wins, makes Donald Trump’s path to the presidency quite difficult.

FiveThirtyEight reported the five counties in Florida with the highest percentage of black voters are not on pace with the statewide average of 79.4 in 2012. Gadsden County, near the state’s capital, had only reached 60% of all early in-person voting and vote by mail at the same point in 2012.

As I have said many times before:

If it is racist NOT to vote for someone because they are black, how is it NOT racist to vote for someone because they ARE black?

It IS racist to vote FOR someone on the basis of their ethnicity. Are there whites who are racist? Sure. Are there blacks who are racist? Absolutely.

Blacks have skated around that logic with the greatest of ease. They just say it's not true. And YOU are a racist for thinking it. (Lol)

;-)

If Hillary gets only 85% of the black vote and not the 95% Obama got, she will lose North Carolina, Florida and probably the election. There will be a lot of Democratic money flowing in a southern direction.

Ha! I’m white, and male. I am racist/sexist by virtue of my very existence, as far as leftists are concerned.

Kudos on stating the obvious. Though obviously truthful, so many appear to be unable to process the thought.

She's already losing NC, for sure.

We'll have to see how determined her fraudsters are in FL.

Silly goose/geese! The flaw in your argument is that black people cannot be racist. Don't you know that?

Report to Room 101 immediately, Citizens.

You have flawless logic. Which shows you are quite possibly a Cuckservative.

Blacks vote nearly unanimously for Democrats. It's called Identity Politics.

Hispanics do the same thing. They block vote. This is not unique.

No amount of logic or debate or appealing to them is going to change that.

Every race and ethnicity in the world DOES THE SAME THING. White people have been chasing their tails about this for many years.

In 50 years when white people in America are a true minority, they'll wake up to this face and start doing the same thing.

Excuse me? According to Wikipedia, this is the definition of "Cuckservative":

A cuckservative is a self-styled "conservative" who will cravenly sell out and undermine his home country's people, culture, and national interest in order to win approval with parties hostile or indifferent to them.

So, either you don't know what it means, or you are for some reason deliberately trying to insult me, or you utterly failed to comprehend my point.
