We seek to become a part of the permanent progressive infrastructure to last beyond the 2008 election. Breaking through the clutter of the modern media environment with a progressive message requires repetition of common themes from different sources organized by a central apparatus--that is the organizing task of Progressive Media.

They deny media collusion - but this includes Super PAC's, the media and the head of Hillary's campaign.
Hopefully that collusion doesn’t somehow get Hillary in the White House.

They call themselves “progressive” but they take money from big business and big banks like Goldman Sachs.
Like their Republican counterparts who call themselves “conservative”, the name for these Democrat Party operatives is a sham and scam.
In our Corporatist system, the real ‘progressives’ and real ‘conservatives’ are outside the circles of power mentioned in this email.
DRAFT launch statement PROGRESSIVE MEDIA Progressive Media will serve as a communications and messaging nerve center for the progressive movement. We will create a robust echo chamber with messaging that spans from independent groups, to progressive partisans, to grassroots organizers, to the netroots. We will align messaging across broadcast and cable TV, radio, print, Internet, single-issue and advocacy organizations, progressive media, surrogates and new media. Through Progressive Media, during the 2008 election campaign we will focus on showing the public where John McCain stands on key issues facing America and the world. We seek to become a part of the permanent progressive infrastructure to last beyond the 2008 election. Breaking through the clutter of the modern media environment with a progressive message requires repetition of common themes from different sources organized by a central apparatus--that is the organizing task of Progressive Media.
Funny, during the Clinton years, the WSJ did a front page story on Hillary’s Flying Monkeys:
They were:
John Podesta
Paul Begala [who is in this thread] and
Rahm Emanuel
Progressive Propaganda. How quaint. They certainly find willing accomplices in the mega-rich and famous.
David, Lester, and Scott and their reporterettes were liplocked on Hillary’s keister in tonight’s propaganda broadcasts, providing Demonicrat talking points.

In common term, a Goebbels type propaganda machine.
I'm shocked, I tell you.

Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill (from the article) was on both CNN and MSNBC within the past 3 hours - she was just so disingenuous. But she came across as grandmotherly - so it will work for the confused masses.
How can folks from Missouri elect her? It is stunning ...
Explain the fundamental dishonesty in collusion. Is it because these entities do not publicly announce their relationship(s)? Why should they? Also, who is so dense as not to realize they are walking in lock step and have been for years? Not a story can break without word-for-word AP parroting. Is this some kind of ethical negative? Is there a law against that. Do we need to legislate to prohibit collusion in matters of message?
Besides the fact that all these organizations claim no collusion, no bias and state “they’re offended” at the suggestion of doing such?
How many times I’ve heard the same wording from multiple organizations, within hours, only to hear that they are all “independent” and have no such ties? They’re “honest journalists” don’t you know? It goes against their supposed “ethics”.
OF COURSE IT WOULD BE NAIVE to believe they’re not. The point is that they deny it all the time. And yes, I believe there are laws about SPAC’s and campaigns being uncoordinated - although I’ll let FR lawyers clarify.
The out-of-date JournaLIST reoccurs ?
What is its' current name , and where to find it ?
Geesh...not an original thought among them, is there?
