She had a chance to change her shirt at management request. She chose to keep arguing instead.
“Fine, keep on arguing. Play the Diva. Meanwhile, we have someone else to do the singing, someone not trying to further any private agenda on our company time. Oh, and we don’t own you any apology. On the contrary, you owe us an apology for putting up needless obstacles to our audience enjoying their time at the game.

Maybe my reasoning is off, but if someone is asked or given the opportunity to sing our national anthem, that is all the person accepting the offer should be using that time for.
Not promoting anything else. It’s not about them and their thoughts or agenda - it’s about singing the song the best they can to honor our country and get off the stage.
Hold their “promotional event” another pace and time.
