My first beer was a can of Rupert's Knicerbocker that I opened with a 'church key'. It was a coming of age ritual. We were at a BBQ, and my dad just handed me one.

It was like an Irish Bar Mitzvah! (I was ten years old) instantly from boy to man... HA!

I remember getting a drink of beer as a really small kid, and instantly spitting it out. The next time I tried it, I was about 15...partying with some friends...still hated it.

I grew to like beer and I absolutely love that there are so many choices now for really great beer.

Ever watch the HISTORY OF BEER on the History channel? Pretty much there wont be America without beer.

The colonialists were always meeting at taverns and planned their moves against the Brits.,,while getting buzzed. America dude.

My Mom caught me going into the garbage for Dad’s cans of beer and swilling the leftover drops. I was 3. She was horrified. I didn’t touch beer for years afterward. Maybe two of them.

Just thinking about it - I’m one beer short of a buzz.

I drink a lot of Busch because life is too long for good beer all the time. It tastes and good. Bud tastes like crap now, not that it ever tasted good.
