Difference is price. At the end of the day and hamburger is a hamburger.

At a “Fast Casual” place, you’re still ordering at the counter, but it’s not all coming out of a deep fryer. You might even get your stuff in a real bowl or plate that they wash and re-use. Chipotle and Panera come to mind immediately.
