Just in time for Halloween, video has emerged from Australia that may chill your blood.
Facebook user Jason Womal uploaded video of a giant spider dragging a mouse.
"So I am just about to leave for work about 0030 [12:30 am] and me neighbour says, 'You want to see something cool,'" Womal wrote. "So we proceed to his place and he shows me this. Huntsman trying to eat a mouse."

There is a video from Sydney out there that shows a spider killing a small snake too.
We have Huntsman down here in parts of Florida, although not as large as the Australian version. That said, they are BIG and FAST. Tarantulas may be bigger, but these guys are creepier because of their speed.
That makes my skin crawl...
I lived in Australia for a couple of years, woke up one morning, opened my eyes to see a Huntsman spider on the wall next to my head. Probably never jumped out of bed as fast as that morning.
Another time a Huntsman dropped onto the tie of a guy that was with me, started crawling up (it was wider than the tie). He knocked it away pretty fast.
They are big - and look mean. Adult spiders don’t build webs (probably couldn’t hold them up), they just catch their prey.
Evil thing! It would do it to us too if it could!
OMG!
Been there, saw that before especially those funnel web spiders - they will chase you down plus they can bite right through sneakers. You get an infestation of them in your yard, the yard would have to be dug up to three feet down and have new dirt brought in.
I spent some time in a jungle and saw a spider web over 6 feet wide with a bird in it and the spider the size of a coconut crab..scary.
