I don’t get it. The lefties were the wimps chanting “no nukes, no nukes” for a few decades but Hillary seems almost eager to start lobbing nukes at Russia and the No Nukes crowd hasn’t uttered a peep.
This is a ploy. They are trying to appear tough before the election. Same with Obama with Russia. It’s all theatre.
Al Gore had a disturbing fascination with nukes too. He was excited by the thought that he would have the power to drop the bomb.
If I recall correctly, his thoughts became an SNL joke, and he even participated.
The “party of peace” scares me.
The “No Nukes” crowd was originally organized and financed by the Soviets through a number of self perpetuating front trusts and foundations, some of which still exist. The much hated J. Edgar Hover’s FBI revealed all that when Ike was President.
