At times, I wish I had gone that route.
But I do have the option of buying a G21 and having both to shoot!

I was a 1911 purist for years, switched to the Glock for work (security) because a manager who was totally ignorant about firearms decided that a pistol with no external safety was somehow safer than one with 2 external safeties (moron)
Ended up selling both my 1911s and several other weapons to fund a divorce...missing my Garand the most of all of them...needless to say I’m never getting married again :)
