I don’t think there is any way our corrupt Congress will pass the laws Trump is asking for here.

Ryan will probably be double-un-endorsing Trump again tomorrow for even suggesting this

I believe one of the reasons for the corruption we see on the hill is that many of these congress critters see the K street lobbying jobs as their fall-back plan or retirement plan when they are voted out or leave congress. There is absolutely an incestuous relationship in D.C. right now between K Street, Wall Street, and the peoples houses. It has even made its way into the Pentagon where top Generals play the game so they can take their 160k a year retirement and go cash in with a high 6 or 7 figure job working for defense firms. It is present throughout the Treasury department where the people regulating banks today have worked for them in the past and will work for them in the future. Comey has played this game throughout his career - be a “public servant” for a few years and go draw million dollar plus jobs for a few years and the cycle repeats.

Ethics rules and laws are quite clear, but in reality they have become very murky in the past few decades and people are making decisions today and leaving to work for those who benefit tomorrow.

Don’t be so sure.

The Donald has a way of getting his message through, and he will make use of the bully pulpit like no one has done before.

He’ll shame even the shameless congress into passing it.

Trump speaks to the people. Congress will be shamed into it.

The one thing in his/our favor is that he will have the Bully Pulpit and is not afraid to use it to slam those who work against the People and explain their corruption.
