I haven’t ordered from Burgess since the mid 80’s. They didn’t offer products well suited to our Texas heat even tho tbey claimed so. Back then I was blessed that I’d been able to move from my first home, a mobile, into an old farmhouse on my first real property. It had established peaches, pears and plums. Fast forward 32 years and 3 homes and I’m still bringing over cuttings and seeds from all 3 of those homes to this new place as we have kept the old properties as rental income. I just wish i had the stamina to get our new place fixed up the way it looks in my dreams. Tubebender has been an inspiration to me for years now :)

We learned our lesson with Burgess too late. All the seedless grapes have seeds. None of the fruit trees have ever borne fruit. The two pear trees are ornamental - but were supposed to be fruit trees.
