Are you saying that because I am disabled, I shouldn’t have been born?

A reminder of the mindset we are fighting against: that some are more equal than others...

Abortionists believe that we must exterminate all of the inconvenient people in the world, all of the inferior people in the world, all of the unwanted people in the world. Of course they are the ones who get to choose which people are inconvenient, inferior or unwanted. It’s the philosophy of Hillary Clinton, Margaret Sanger, Adolf Hitler and the Daleks.

This fellow reminds me of a roommate I had in college. He had cerebral palsy but that didn’t stop him from being the most optimistic friend I ever had. Barely able to walk, subject to frequent falls and muscle spasms, he would joke about spilling his beer and his slow typing skills. He had friends everywhere. At the bar we frequented, the owner would joke with him, “Hi, you weak son of a bitch!” And that joke never seemed to get old. Although his disability was obvious, it was soon forgotten by people he met, befriended and inspired.

Paraphrasing Chesterton:

The answer to anyone who talks about the inconvenient, inferior or unwanted is to ask him whether he is inconvenient, inferior or unwanted; or if he is not, how he knows he is not.

When I was growing up, when I saw someone who was crippled or mentally handicapped, my mother told me:
“These are God’s special children and we will be judged on how we treat them”.

I have dear friends who have a daughter with cerebral palsy who just went to Cambodia on a 6 week mission trip. She certainly blessed all those she came in contact with over there. She definitely has the Jesus’ spirit inside her and loves to share that with everyone. I love being around her and absolutely do not find her a burden or inconvenient.

give me a person that struggled in life and has a good personality any day over one that life has not given them challenges. it is the fact that it is the struggle that builds personality and makes us a better person. if we were to allow the Margret sangers of the world to determine who was of value we would die as a species as with each generation are definition of who is valuable gets narrower and narrower tell we get to the point that all that makes us human is gone.

A friendly warning to those who proudly call themselves 'pragmatists': Pragmatism is a variant of utilitarianism which is an inherently evil basis for ethical decision making as it places no importance on the soul or even human dignity.

Pragmatism started out OK when it limited itself to scientific discovery, however it got expanded to include ethics and led to nuisances such as Dewey and Rorty.

The pragmatic thing to do with regard to those with disabilities is to attempt to determine which fetuses will develop into humans with disabilities and abort them for "their own good".

Does anyone really want to associate themselves with such a horrifying philosophy?

Conservatives should not pat themselves on the back for being pragmatic, even if they mean it in the colloquial sense. The word has a very evil heritage and should go into disuse as soon as possible.

After searching around a bit more I found a tweet pointing to “Ms. Bakula” - whose comments were apparently the impetus for this post.

May God bless the pro-life movement in Poland, and may He have mercy on us all.

My screen is very blurry.

Such golden words. No one needed to convince me on this issue ever. But, how anyone can think of killing an unborn baby I just don’t comprehend. I am a woman. My choice is all babies have their chance to live. This is being shared.

IMO, “abortion as a right” is a direct, satanic assault against the teaching that we are created in God’s image; it is at it’s core, modern-day child-sacrifice to appease the god of self.
