A hunt is underway for dozens of highly-poisonous snakes after a mass escape from an unlicensed breeding farm in China.
About 200 monocled baby cobras escaped from the farm in Nanjing. So far about 150 of them have been caught or killed.
Monocled cobras are highly poisonous and their venom can prove fatal if not treated.
The snakes escaped in August, but the authorities only became aware when a villager discovered one in his home earlier this month.
Snake parts are used in a variety of traditional Chinese medicines.

I’d like to see a film of the great snake escape.
My guess is they did it during the night, as snakes tend to be nocturnal when the temperature permits.
