Through 19 comments, I didn’t see it addressed, but my understanding is that the tape, which was from an NBC show was obtained by Campbell Brown, formerly of NBC, who is married to Dan Senor, former spokeshole for GWB, who is currently affiliated with Speaker Ryno.
Who gave the order to release it is anyone’s guess.

Ryan was in on it from the start, not Preibus. Jerry Falwell, Jr, whom I believe to be trustworthy, said it was not the RNC or GOP, but elites. Guessing: Ryan, Romney, McCain, etc., look at those who turned their backs on Trump first.

There is going to be a lot more of these tapes and there will be phony rape charges and new bs that will be daily in the last couple of weeks. I agree with you. The Republican party will be dead as we know it. However the elite will have won with Hillary. Lot’s of Bush’s voting for Hillary. The country will never be the same again. Things are now crystal clear.

I'm no concern troll (see my posting history), but I fear that the reason this was ordered is because those "in the know" think there is something else (more damaging than the "locker room banter") waiting in the wings for Donald Trump.
Such a development would probably drive me into the camp of those who believe that the whole thing was an elaborate setup intended to ensure a Hillary victory by giving her an opponent who was so flawed as to be destined to lose!
I pray to God that I'm wrong, and the Lord's will will be done, but that's my fear. If there is something like that— something that would effectively sabotage Trump's candidacy at this late stage— then I would have to question why Trump ever ran in the first place, knowing there was such information out there.
Barring that, it's just more evidence that the GOPe is the selfish, power-hungry scum of the earth, and they are all members in good standing of the corrupt, incorrigible Uniparty. Specifically, families like the Bush's and their globalist ilk.
If so, no member of the Bush clan should ever hold political power again in the United States.

If you listen to what Jerry Falwell Jr. on Lou Dobbs today, it sounds like Romney/Bush. He said it came from those that had run for president in the past.
