People didn’t want the fairness act, but come January, I would put up a bill that neuters the MSM. After a year or so, take it to SCOTUS to get rid of it.
There needs to be a system in place to balance the media against their will. They are nearly 100% Liberal Democrats, and they should be gutted until at least 50% of their staff is Conservative Republican.
I have been advocating that we create a board of governors elected by nationwide popular vote so as to force the media to provide both sides of the news and both sides of a debate on issues.
This business of one party control of the airwaves is bullsh*t.

The Constitution guarantees a free press. We do not have a free press by any stretch of the imagination.
“Free press” means more than just an individual or group’s right to speak its mind. It means that the press must not be suborned by the state and its allies into a propaganda arm of the government and its cronies. We don’t have a press we have a Goebbels style Ministry of Propaganda.
President Trump’s first act should be to drop a legislative JDAM on that particular government agency.
