The company got positive test results for Listeria on its equipment located on a production line at its facility in Bakersfield, California, according to a company statement.
The voluntary recall includes the Drumstick Club 16 count Variety Pack and the 24 count Vanilla Pack, which were made between August 31 and September 17. The affected product identification codes are available on the FDA site. Nestlé said it detected the problem through its internal testing, but that the products were inadvertently shipped to stores due to an error "logging receipt of the test result."

Still got Nutty Buddy.
I love Drumsticks. At least no one has been sickened yet.
My husband bought me one on Sunday & it is still in the freezer! It sounds like it is only the multi packs. Ugh......I love them ; )
I am eating it now!
Glad I buy Kroger's brand!
My Granddaughter (my part-time live-in) loves them!
They have them in a little freezer in the cafeteria. Gotta get one tomorrow after lunch, they’re having fried chicken, yay! The drag is I can’t stuff myself as I go do PT after chow, and a full belly gets uncomfortable quick on the treadmill...
NOOoooo! I love drumsticks.
Oh well back to Klondike bars.
Say what?
I worked in food manufacturing for years. There is no way this occurred like they say it did.
The only time we ever had product we knew was contaminated go out the door was when someone deliberately removed the "Hold - Do Not Ship" label.
That person was not only fired but we called the cops.
When you got results from the lab that there was a problem it did not arrive in a stack of reports that you got to at your leisure. It was on top, marked in red and you got a phone call.
You immediately called shipping and told them not to ship any of that product and it was to be placed in quarantine. This was the second call of this nature they got, the first was from the lab.
You went down to quarantine area and checked to make sure you had all the suspected product labeled and set away from the clean product.
Then you pulled boxes to take to the lab for further testing.
This was not done by some clerk tapping away, it was done by at least a middle manager.
No!!!
Just happened to buy something different last time cause granddaughter was woth me. Guess we fast a while.
The sacrifices we make.
