Consistent playing is the key. My husband doesn’t get it in sometimes, especially if other people do the church service for a couple of weeks. Our 18-year-old daughter and 22-year-old son both play electric as well as acoustic. I don’t know whether he shreds, but he says he and his friend are recording songs, so I’ll find out if they ever public anywhere. They’re so “alternative” that, I understand, nobody else likes the music they like!

Haha! He’s just being young, that’s all.

I’ve been playing since I was 12. Played hard rock, metal, jazz, blues, fusion, fingerpicking, all kinds of styles. Grew up on Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Clapton, Blackmore, Eddie VH, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Gary Moore...
