Studio recording would be a LOT better. I hate listening to pre-teen girls in the audience squeeling like stuck pigs almost as much as I detest audience whooping, clapping, foot stomping and screaming. Other than that, it’s a nice piece. My wife and I saw Riverdance in the mid 90s. Pleasant, but a little goes a LONG way.
“When are you getting an apartment, Bill?”
Zot, I was married at his age. The least he can do is get a studio and start paying his own electric and water bill.
RE Studio Recording:
There IS a DVD of the music soundtrack for both Riverdance and Lord of the Dance.
But on the Lord soundtrack, they left out the violin duel for some reason.
Ha!!
Yeah I was out on my own pretty young too. But our generation was different.
I don’t think there have ever been young people who had so much done for them.
I have “Riverdance: Music from the Show” which I think I purchased in the lobby after seeing the performance. It’s a Bill Whelan 1995 recording. I don’t see the “Strings of Fire” duel on my recording.
