Quinnipiac Polling Internals Missing Party ID, and Missing Women vs. Men Voters
Quinnipiac U ^ | October 7, 2016 | Douglas Schwartz P.h.D, Tim Malloy

"Women, non-Whites gives Clinton 5-Points lead over Trump...Independent voters in Big Shift to Clinton"

"A 20 percentage - point lead among women and a 45-point lead among non-white voters lift Democrat Hillary Clinton to a 45 – 40 percent likely voter lead over Republican Donald Trump, with 6 percent for Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson and 3 percent for Green Party candidate Jill Stein, according to a Quinnipiac University national poll released today."

From October 5 – 6 , Quinnipiac University surveyed 1,064 likely voters nationwide with a margin of error of +/-3 percentage points. Live interviewers call landlines and cell phones.

I do not see Quinnipiac's party identification breakdown in their internal polling nor the percentages of women vs. men polled.

Maybe someone else can look at the internals and find them and report that I'm blind.

I cannot recall ever seeing a Farleigh Dickenson poll with a Republican in the lead. It must be some unicorn with those clowns.

Same here. In Fairleigh Dickenson land, the Democrat always wins, the Republican is always humiliated and wears a dunce cap.

Quinnipiac and the other college polls are not much better.

I think you can get honest polling from these outfits, but you have to pay. The data they turn out free of charge always favors the Democrat.

It's the same with advertising and the M$M. They plug the Left, thereby forcing the Right to pay $$$ to get its message out.

That's because (a) they know the Democrats don't pay their bills, and (b) they're leftists by inclination, all the way up to the top executives, the boards of directors, and the shareholders.

Also, I think they may get back-channel money from big left-wing philanthropists like Soros. Look how they NYT got bailed out by Carlos Slim, and the WP got bailed out by Jeff Bezos. We're going to get the Billionaire Broadcasting System.

As long as its Left-wing billionaires calling the shots, the MSM doesn't care. Let a few Conservative billionaires try it, and the SHTF.

I think most skewing gets done by these college pollsters we cannot tell from their internals. Something like what Hellary does by planned staging and get the questions before hand from her sycophant press.

>>Those Indy numbers are way off... I agree... Trump has been ahead in nearly every I poll.

That’s because they try to hide the Rat bias in the ‘Independant’ section so it won’t seem like a D+19 sampling.

But down deep, education. They had 40% college grads in their sample. The US is 28% college grads above age 21. that is a very strong skew and probably makes the poll worthless.

Yep, that's what I understand and I've been wondering about this.

I could manufacture an Independent Clinton preference by concentrating women from the +5 women mix in I’s. Dem males probably still vote clinton so you can safely move your women sample, and maybe college educated, to Independents in the screen and get a Clinton preference among I’s.

So many other demographics that can be played with.

Region
Race
Black females
Education
Political philosophy...conservative to liberal
Likely voter definition
Age
Sex

It’s an endless list that can be manipulated. If all of them are manipulated just a little it can’t be called out.

The polls are usually right but don’t worry about them until the final week before the election. Pollsters want to be on record of how accurate their poll was.

I doubt 6% of likely voters even know who Stein or Johnson are.
