DAYDREAM ISLAND, Australia, Oct. 5 (UPI) -- A kangaroo on an Australian island appears to have a bit of an addiction after being repeatedly caught eating toilet paper in a public restroom.
A visitor to the public restroom on Queensland's Daydream Island filmed a video showing the small kangaroo staring back at the filmer while enjoying a snack of toilet paper in a stall.

I guess they don’t have crocodiles in that part of the country, but approaching it . . . well, I probably wouldn’t just in case.
Probably a good thing the kangaroo didn’t decide it would be fun to dropkick the photographer.

My kitty takes one little tiny nibble at a time. He isn’t after any shredding fun, he actually bites off a piece and eats it a little at a time, the weirdo.
I suppose it could have something to do with the scent, and/or texture. Who knows. Perhaps the government can conduct a multi-million dollar study of the issue. :)
Ha ha, yes. I think it’s the lack of fiber in his diet. That probably justifies a million dollar grant, I should write up a proposal.
Perhaps the Kangaroo has a mineral deficiency.
Occasionally, humans eat dirt for the same reason.
Came home late one night after being gone all day and discovered white shredded paper everywhere! Cat had gotten into our Obama stash cupboard in the bathroom and completely unrolled and shredded 12 rolls!
I think there’s something wrong with my cat.
She’s only unrolled one roll of paper.
She did completely destroy a feather duster one time when we were on vacation. There were trails of feathers all over the house.
When she was a tiny kitten she grabbed one of my husbands shoes by the laces and tore down the hall with it. The shoe was bigger than her and with every step it jumped back and forth over her head. That was something to see.

Well if you ever want to experience having one who destroys all things paper, just give me your address and I’ll be happy to ship Krazy Cat to you. Latest activities included ripping a hole in the bottom of a 25 lb. bag of cat food and then scattering each individual piece all over the house. We have ceramic tile floors over much of the house so it makes her task so much easier. She doesn’t eat the food, just loves pushing it around with her front paws. LOL
