That’s one moral of this story. I’m not condoning the excessive (in this case, deadly) use of force, but there is no reason to get in someone’s face over a grocery line violation. Let the cashier or manager handle it.

I was waiting on a carry-out pizza and these people of color, a married couple (both tall and sturdy) and a man with his kid got into an argument. The guy with his kid left muttering something about disrespecting him in front of his boy.
I turned to the couple and said, “If he comes back in here with a Glock, I’m getting behind you two.”
