Why should there be any difference between the slope of the surface of almost an inch from back to front on Trump's and Hillary's desks? There has to be a reason if they were made to the same specifications on this portion of the plans. You can easily see that the upright separator on Trump's shows only about an inch above the forward edge of the surface, while Hillary's is about two inches and that her surface has no slope at all. Why?
What I find extremely interesting is that these podia were designed, engineered, and built to be easily height adjustable with what appears to be in a range of about 6"-8" with very little problem. Note the double box construction with three bolts at either side on each and the fact that each is ALREADY at different heights! Note the yellow paper/box between the double box construction area where the one on the left is adjusted to about ½" while the one on the right is at about 3" taller. The external box sinks or rises in the base.
We know that Trump's podium was not altered.
What I am getting at is there was no need for Hillary's podium to be rebuilt to adjust for her difference in height! That was a smoke screen for some other rebuilding. I can see no difference in the width of the two podia. . . and the adjustable height system has NOT BEEN ALTERED! So what modifications were made to Hillary's podium were made by NBC to please her campaign?
Damn my curiosity! I took the above photo and adjusted the shadows, exposure, highlights, and sharpness and look what I find inside Hillary's podium! To quote Lt. Joe Kenda, "My, My, My!"
Let's look a little closer into that double box on Hillary's podium. . . too bad the resolution of the video is so poor, but it's good enough to be revealing!
OK, I can grant them a wire, perhaps two, for the Mic mounted on the podium, although two is really pushing it in this day of modern mics. But THREE THICK CABLE LIKE WIRES? The thin mic boom is certainly not thick enough to hold all three of those cables.
But, NOW WHAT THE HELL IS THAT BLACK BOX ON THE RIGHT WITH TWO, PERHAPS THREE, GRAY CABLES GOING INTO THE BOTTOM OF IT?????!!!!
