I recall reading that in the Orient that called this “The Kato Show”
I remember back in ‘66 the first 10 minutes... Then I turned it off.
only remember him appearing on Batman tv show
In China it was called - The Kato Show.
Probably Wende.

Last year my kids and I watched the whole series. Lighting was poor on the show, and “the city” had the most inept police force I had ever seen, ALWAYS a day late, worse than Chief O’Hara.
I wonder how Kato jiggered BOTH Imperials’ fluid to remain stable upside down. Wouldn’t it have been easier to just get a bigger garage? But it was cool.
One of the most interesting things about the Green Hornet show was the drone that came out of the back of his car. They were predicting this technology which was decades in the future.
You notice the bad guy in the first video works for Al Trump? And then you hear the name Trump a few times.
Nah, no coincidence! :)

I was barely old enough to remember television at the time, but I recall disliking The Green Hornet, thinking it was scary and a little boring in between scary parts. I’ve watched several episodes on YouTube in adulthood, though, and enjoyed them. It had the cartoonish, campy spoof of Batman combined with more than a little noir detective quality. The car, a heavily modified Chrysler Imperial, was cool, as was that office and living quarters hidden away in an apparently abandoned warehouse, great midcentury modern. It’s a real visual treat for fans of period 60’s anything.
