Attorney General Ken Paxton on Friday lost his last-minute bid for a court injunction to prevent the federal government from transferring its oversight of internet registrations to an international body.
Hours before the transition was set to take effect, a federal judge in Galveston ruled against Paxton and three other state attorneys general who had asked him to temporarily halt the transfer while they pursue a lawsuit challenging it. The four sued the federal government late Wednesday after Republicans in Congress, led by U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, failed to halt the transfer.
The ruling by Judge George C. Hanks Jr. came after a hearing in Galveston that lasted more than an hour. His reasoning was not immediately known.

I think Cruz tries to fight the good fight... It seems he doesn't have a lot of success because of a total lack of support from the leadership....that would be the three a-holes mentioned above....

One of the things lawyers learn in school is how to negotiate and gets agreements made.
Cruz seems unable to show this ability. I don’t know if it is his personality, his stance, or that he lacks that education, but he appears to be unfit to get a group of people together to move forward.
We are very fortunate his lack of ability is not destined for the White House.

We can probably create an app that will download and make each cell phone or PC act like a mini cell tower so that we can all communicate
I remember my brother telling about those things called Bulletin Boards or BBS’s where each person had a modem that others could dial in and access some bulletin board type program to leave messages and chat like in chat rooms.
