Gov. Jerry Brown waded further into the national debate over transgender rights Thursday as he signed a bill requiring that all single-stall toilets in California be designated as gender neutral.
The measure requires that businesses and governments post non-gender-specific signs on single-occupant restrooms by March 1, 2017.
Democratic Assemblyman Phil Ting of San Francisco said his legislation would establish the nations most inclusive restroom-access law and chart a new course of equality for the nation.
This simple concept is oddly cutting-edge when compared with the discrimination being enacted in other states, Ting said earlier, while urging the Democratic governor to sign the bill.

Probably just uses his depends.
I have used a single-occupancy men’s room bathroom when we’re on the road and we stop at a gas station and I really have to go. If a man is waiting when I’m done, I simply apologize and it’s no big deal. Single seats don’t need to be designated as male or female, except that women don’t want to sit on a seat where a man has just peed. ;)
They call them "Family Restrooms". Place where a mother or father can take a young child, of either sex, to the bathroom and not worry about who else is in there.

As horrific as this worldview represents, I think this might be read to mean something it’s not. What I’m reading is that public restrooms where occupants go in and lock the door must let either males or females in. Of course, it’s pure fascism to mandate that private businesses do this, or else, but it’s a far cry from de-sexing intimate public changing areas.
Other than the fact that women tend much more to be disgusting slobs in restrooms than men - by admission of many women I know.
And the laws sounds like it says that businesses with community occupancy restrooms aren’t affected in the least (at least not by state law.)
I only go to women's rooms - but apparently you have more experience so maybe I'll take your word for it.
Guess what that goal is?
Of course, I've worked for businesses where we ave to service both the men's and women's rooms. But I've already given you my input from various women on the subject.
