Hope you enjoy.Sunday Will Never Be The Same
music *ping*
Ahhh yes...haven’t heard this is a long time. Thanks!!
I always loved this song.
Seventh grade. It seemed beautiful and new.
Expo 67, brand new school, music on the radio was amazing. Spanky, Strawberry Alarm Clock, Cowsills, Monkees, Beatles.
Amazing. So lucky to have been that age at that time in history.
The bad aspects of the counterculture hadn’t started to emerge, but were just around the corner.
Elaine “Spanky” McFarlane had a great set of pipes. The group had the chops to do anything from mainstream pop to rock.
Their greatest hits album is well worth getting. Quite a good handful of great recordings on there not just the hits.

Another great one from

I thought this was referring to George “Spanky” McFarland and “Our Gang” aka “The Little Rascals”, i.e. Alfalfa, Buckwheat, Darla and Porky.
