Happy Sunday all. It's been a great weekend but I'm saddened by the Islamic attacks on the American people the last few days and our politicians seemingly trying to kill us all for no reason. And spoiled ungrateful athletes in the news.
Not excited about tonight's lineup which appears sci fi related (is this an anniversary of landing on the moon or something?) but am looking forward to an evening of classic radio...Dragnet is oddly back to 8:30...Man called X is good...X Minus One is hit or miss..now sure what Biographies in Sound is about...and a 5min retrospective about something I can't figure out...
How you doing?

Yeah, he couldn’t stand leaving the old lineup in place, so he’s back to dividing up the first three shows. Dumb.
How’s it going, Vision? I’m with you on the evil events this weekend and the commie politicians.

Good, this is the first weekend in a while with no major projects to do so as the grass is seeding in I got to nap a little. Trying to figure out which dishwasher to upgrade to.
How’s things with you?

We’re doing fine. Got some rain early today, but now it’s clearing. Getting ready to do some baby backs on the Green Egg. The usual Sunday, which is good—no new, good news and all.

I bought an inexpensive electric burner so I can sear and cook things outside without having all that stuff inside. I seared some pork chops but overcooked them so I'm reheating those and doing some brown rice.
Any Saints players not standing for the Anthem?

The Hinds Honey and Almond Cream Program. March 13, 1940. George Burns and Gracie AllenGracie has just returned from Washington, D. C., where she addressed annual dinner of The Women's National Press Club. She describes her adventures in the nation's capitol. Gracie's Suprise Party convention will be held in Omaha. Gracie sings her campaign song, "Vote For Gracie." George has just got back from the opening of a meat market! Gracie, in her own warm and witty way proceeds to retell the tale of her dinner in Washington.

Nope, none that I know of. That kind of crap doesn’t go down so well in the South. :-/
You can sear outside without smoking the place up. :-)

We like sci-fi, too, Viking! Keith, especially. My favorites are the “scary” ones. My least favorites are the comedies, although “Our Miss Brooks” is fine with me. :-)

This Dragnet isn't too bad. How am I doing? The same as everyone else down here - gasoline-starved. I drove a two mile stretch of 29 earlier, and every station had plastic bags on their pump handles, except for two, and they were swamped. At one station, I couldn't even jockey for a spot in a queue because everyone had tank filler necks on differing sides. I got topped off, but it was a street fight. I'm only two hours away from the site of that pipeline leak. The governors in Alabama, Georgia, and two others declared a state of emergency, and they have no ETA as to when the bypass will come online. It'll get worse before it gets better.
Am I the only one who'd like to mama-slap Murray in the back of the head? I miss Ed.

How are things up in Ballmer? Streets quiet for a change? Glad to see the O's and Ravens are doing good, because my Redskins have decided to stink up the league this year.
