It’s a real shame that murder isn’t promoted more in film. These people are evil.
That woman is wrong that a 43-year-old single woman would absolutely consider abortion. In my experience women in that age range who haven’t married are looking for the kids, even if the husband never came along. I have friends who would give anything to be married and have families. When it becomes pretty clear that they won’t ever be walking down the aisle, they look to adopt. My particular friends don’t sleep around, but if they did, and became pregnant, they’d be thrilled. Abortion would be the furthest things from their minds.
I have a good friend who just got foster kids, in fact, and is hoping it will lead to adoption. She is an only child and knows that when her parents die, her family ends. She would have preferred the traditional family route, but she is kind of a homebody and not exactly hot stuff, so she doesn’t really have the self-confidence to get out there and “land a man.” But that doesn’t mean she can’t provide a good, loving and stable home to kids who need it. She fits the profile of a woman who would NOT consider abortion.

Oh, I can hardly wait to see a comedy about “a single 43-year-old pregnant woman”. That sounds just too funny.

You make sense. It’s rare for a 43-year-old woman to get pregnant, especially if it’s her first pregnancy. I think most women that age would figure it was their very last chance to have a baby and would be less likely to abort.

If a 43 year old stays pregnant for more than 3 months it is A MIRACLE. These days there is very low egg quality after the age of 41. At 40 you have a 50% chance of giving birth if pregnant, at 42 it is maybe 30% and at 43 closer to 10%. At 45 it might be 1%. Egg quality is very poor so the pregnancies will end in early miscarriages.
To this day I have not figured out why women worship abortion. How were we convinced there was some “right to choose” murder??? When I was a little girl I read this everywhere and kind of believed it. Until I applied actual thought and heart to the subject. We were 100% hoodwinked.
There is no reason to worship available abortion. What could the reason be, in any logic? The RIGHT of men to have access to vaginal sex any time they want?? How is that feminism? The RIGHT to let men off the hook for fatherhood?? I’m sorry, I’m not getting it. Murder out of convenience?
They aren’t pompous; you are. Every culture must have standards. Yours just happen to be low and ultimately not up to the task of sustaining an advanced, healthy civilization.
