Austrian energy drink maker Red Bull said it posted record profits of 501 million ($559 million) in 2015, an increase of 35 percent, according to the economics magazine Trend.
The unlisted firm, which does not directly publish its figures, saw drink sales nudge up 6.1 percent to 5.96 billion cans, its turnover rise 20 percent to 3.2 billion, and operating income soar by 90 percent to 633.3 million, according to Trend.
Red Bulls bottom line was boosted by a cost-cutting program and a weaker euro, the magazine reported.

Red Bull tastes like cough medicine to me. Monster made me throw up. No, I don’t really care for energy drinks. Never really needed them anyway.

Try Spike at GNC.
The reason the sales are going up is because so many hard working Americans are having to work two jobs and commute for hours just to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table. And—a lot of those jobs are paid under the table and not reflected in the jobs numbers because the small business employers can't afford to keep up with the increasing government mandates and healthcare requirements. Taxes aren't being paid and no one gives a damn because they know the money will be wasted on coddling illegal immigrants and refugees. It's a silent, ever-spreading revolt against big Government that is seething under the surface.

How can they afford it? (Energy drink). Like bottled water that stuff is too expensive for me.

All the 20 somethings in my office drink it every day.And Starbucks coffees. Guarantee in about 10 years when the new life expectancy charts come out people will be wondering why the ages are dropping. Sorry, folks, you can't blame everything on obesity.

Thx for the ping. Just bought another 12 pack this morning.
According to half the thread, it seems I should be awaiting a kidney transplant, heading to dialysis, or stroking out from high blood pressure.
I have cut back to two or three a day from seven a day several years ago.

What’s interesting about Red Bull drinkers..they often recognize each other when engaging in verbal communication with other Red Bull drinkers.
I have experienced it at many businesses. A knowing look, followed by, “Red Bull drinker?”, a laugh or grin, then, “Me, too.”
