I know a MARSOC Marine who’s going to nursing school. Like I say, it’s MY struggle, not theirs.

I somehow suspect Gunilla Hutton cemented the association in my, ahem, youthful (at the time) mind.

Im hoping my son goes to nursing school. I must really be messed up. Cheaper schooling and a high demand job, what is wrong with that?
Male nurses are in high demand.

Now they all seem to wear dumpy scrubs with cute pajama patterns. Not exactly confidence-inspiring.

My last visit to the hospital would have been.
Who is the doctor and who is the nurse?

“It must because the noun is also a verb ... a very feminine verb.”
Yes, a male nurse cannot exactly fulfill all the actions of the verb “to nurse”, do to limitations of his biology.

That’s not a very hot pic by the way? We’re you playing it safe on that?

as if that whole idea was completely preposterous! I had a similar experience with my daughter when she was about 5. I asked her what she wanted to be when she grew up and she answered, "a nurse". So I said, "A nurse. That's good. How about a doctor?". She replied, "Oh no, boys are doctors, girls are nurses". (She's not a nurse; she works in CAD).

I was going to post those numbers, but you beat me to it. Liberals are morons or worse. My guess is they know better but they lie because they are evil.

I spent some time around the military, too, to the tune of 20 years on acrive duty. What you say is true, but a whole lot of it is affirmative action. I saw many instances of that.

Affirmative Action with compliance to the UCMJ. Rules and regulations and conformity to service standards makes all the difference.
There a couple of things we were told in boot camp that have remained etched in my brain.
1. “Like it or not, you are now living in a military dictatorship”
2. “There are two types of food. Food that makes a turd and food that pushes a turd”

"Affirmative Action with compliance to the UCMJ. Rules and regulations and conformity to service standards makes all the difference." I spent many years as a recruiter and reserve recruiter. A vast majority of production recruiters were men and there was probably an even split of men/women in support. Because there weren't enough women recruiters, they started promoting women in support. I had to work for a female supervisor for three years who had never personally recruited one person. It would be the equivalent of making the receptionist in charge of the auto repair shop. I was passed over for advancement but a female in support was promoted over me in that cycle. I once saw a district recruiter in charge walk in to a station recruiter in charge meeting and announce that there weren't enough females there. Yes, I'm a little bitter. Not hiring or promoting someone because of their sex or color is wrong, but hiring or promoting someone only because of their sex or color is just as wrong when someone else suffers for it.
