A Muslim Marine said he was called a terrorist and ordered into an industrial clothes dryer multiple times by a drill instructor who then turned it on, burning him, according to investigative documents that provide new details about the alleged abuse of recruits at the services training center at Parris Island, S.C.

Maybe he was wet.
[ I thought they called that astronaut training. ]
NASA “outreach”
If the turd hadn't been a Muslim, this would never have made the news.
People like you, it will suck to be at the gate to eternity.
Many years ago, back in 1967, while stationed at Fort Irwin California in the Mohave desert, I was involved in laying communications for artillery training exercises (175 battery) for a lot of Iranians soldiers with their speckled red and white head scarfs...back when the Shaw ran that country and was aligned with the US. Without exaggeration, if one of those Arabs happened to cross the road a block or more away from you and you just happened to be downwind, the smell would almost knock you over. Now picture how bad it was if you had to work close with them or worse yet, be in a class room with a whole bunch of them. It would make your eyes water it was so bad. They, however, never seemed to notice it. We were told it was a cultural thing. Will never get over it.
“Thats two days in a row that the Compost has run with a story that is yet to be unconfirmed regarding poor, poor, victimized Muslims.”
Trying to work up sympathy today to offset the rage stemming from the planned terror attack tomorrow, maybe?
Stay away until you know what you are talking about. Every single recruit is subjected to abuse precisely because of who they are. Race, religion, state of origin, height, stupid looking face, big ears, funny name... you name it. Nobody escapes. That’s why a Marine rifle company is utterly ridiculous in its fighting capabilities. Don’t tamper with it moron-ette.
Sounds like what I remember; by 2012 time frame it was actually quite nice. Buckets under bed legs is smart. Fort Leavenworth was/is (as of 2014) still very much as you described; no heat and only thin sheets on the bed, could only get one of the ‘70s era OD green Army blankets at desk, and no hot water during one stay, plenty of roaches. I do believe they were planning to renovate, but I heard that several times and every time I went back out it’s the same.
Silly DI, he’s supposed to put him through the wash first.
Yeah go ahead and lecture the Marines on the gates of eternity. One of the few things in this sick nation that works right and you want to screw with it.
LOL
bump
It’s never ok to abuse any recruit. My comment was in reference that recruits do stupid things and sometimes try to blame the drill instructor.
When I went to boot camp we didn’t have washers or dryers. We used a cement slab and a hand brush and hung our clothes out to dry.
The gates of eternity are waiting for everybody.
It is sick along with the rest of the nation.
How horrible! He could have ruined the dryer!
SO? Fifty years ago teens used to go to a laundromat, put money in the machine and get inside for a ride!
It is NOT a new thing!
Now if they had hung the moslem from a pole to dry...
More of my cousins were at PI in the early 60’s and thought Lee Emery did a good job but was a liberal compared to their DI’s.
And how about their blasphemous little song about who’s guarding heaven, and where!
Doesn’t seem that bad. Neighborhood kids did that to each other all the time. It was kind of a standing prank.
