fortunately, all presidential choices pick your party choice slate of electors to electoral college.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
That manner of choosing electors was initiated by Obama to circumvent a protest Electoral College vote based on Obama’s not being a natural born American, and therefore unqualified for the presidency. Obama insisted that his campaign slelect all electoral college electors.Prior to that, the state organization selected the electors, a much more democratic safeguard to any attempted usurpation of the office of President. Obama successfully did usurp the presidency.
Hopefully electors will again be chosen by the state party organizations of the victorious candidate. Its actually a State right to do so.
As you say, electors are chosen by state organizations. Hasn’t this already been done by now since ballot are finalized, being printed and mailed?
“The potential Electors’ names may or may not appear on the ballot below the name of the Presidential candidates, depending on election procedures and ballot formats in each state. “

Don’t know where you live, but in Iowa. a *candidate* must name a list of potential electors in order to appear on the ballot. Those electors are actually chosen by the state party committees, as candidates would be hard-pressed to know trustworthy supporters at such a local level.
I’ve never heard of a dispute between a state party and a presidential candidate.
