Been seeing all the issues of bricking regarding this update so will wait..apparently servers are being overloaded with people downloading this so that could be the cause
Very few of those and Apple says it has fixed the issue. Mostly had to do with servers being jammed with traffic. Those that were "bricked" have been handled by connecting to iTunes and updated that way instead of over-the-air updating.
I've done five iOS devices of various vintages over-the-air with zero problems so far.
It took over an hour for me last night.
