So.... Here we go with Week 2!
Jets at Bills Gang Green versus the team led by their former coach. Jets had the Bills' number last season and kept them out of the playoffs. However, in Buffalo, it will be a different story. BILLS!
49ers at Panthers. Niners manhandled the hapless Lambs in Week 1 and are rewarded with a trip to Carolina. In the Niners' mind, they'll be sorry they went to Carolina! Super Bowl participants will not start the season 0 - 2. PANTHERS.
Cowboys at Redskins. Two teams that ain't going anywhere this season? Or is Dak Prescott the real deal? Is Kirk Cousins the real deal? Who the heck knows... I sure don't! COWBOYS.
Bengals at Steelers. Hmm.... With nothing else moving me, I take the BLACK-and-YELLOW at home. STEELERS.
Saints at Giants.I love Drew Brees but he can't do it all by himself. The G-Men... at home... Eli Manning and Odell Beckham Jr....Yeah, like the Gints here. GIANTS.
Dolphins at Patriots. Pats are something like 21 - 1 at home versus division opponents the last umpteen years and the moribund Phish don't have the weapons to break that trend, whether it's Jimmy Garo-polo-polo QB'ing or Babe Parilli.PATRIOTS.
Chiefs at Texans.Well, a good test of two Week 1 winners. I doubt Alex Smith repeats his career performance of last week against the Bolts when he faces JJ Watt and Company. TEXANS.
Titans at Lions.Who picked the Lions to win last week? Yeah, I thought so! And this week they get the woeful Titans at home. LIONS.
Ravens at Browns. The RGIII era in Cleveland - aka the graveyard of QBS, GMs, and head coaches! - did not get off to a rousing start. The Ravens played well enough to win and will do so again this week. RAVENS.
Seahawks at Rams.Well, I was thinking the Lambs were a potential playoff team. But after the shellacking they took Monday night, not even scoring... Yes they beat the Bluish Man Group twice last season, but that streak ends Sunday. SEAHAWKS.
Bucs at Cards. I don't think the Cards will open the season 0 - 2. Will they? What the hell do I know... if I really knew what was going on, I'd be in Vegas making a living at this! Nevertheless.... and Jameis Winston notwithstanding...CARDINALS.
Jaguars at Chargers. Jags gave the Pack a scare and I don't think they're as bad as last year. My heart says Philip Rivers and the Bolts though. Hey, everybody has a soft spot right? CHARGERS.
Falcons at Raiders. Ladies and gentlemen, your 2016 playoff-bound Oakland Raiders! I've built my fantasy team on them so how can I pick against them here, especially at home against an inconsistent Dirty Birds squad. RAIDERS.
Colts at Broncos. How come the Super Bowl champs get the first two games of the season at home? Bueller? Anyone? Tough to win at Mile High (which has taken on a whole new meaning the last several years...).... Trevor Siemian ain't no Peyton Manning. He's not even Mike Moroski*.... But he's got an All-World D helping him. BRONCOS.
*: Look it up...
Packers at Vikings.I think it's going to be a donnybrook, a melee, a down-to-the-wire nailbiter. And the Pack wins! PACKERS.
Eagles at Bears. Is Jay Cutler still QB'ing the Bears? Yes he is! IGGLES!
And there you have 'em! Good luck to everyone with their picks!
Oh yes, one more...
Georgia Tech beats Vandy in Atlanta!!!! GO JACKETS!!!!!
Old Suckler has a pretty good Monday night record.
